Importing Ongame hands from pokernetwork.co.uk server

Postby kyotoisok » Fri Jul 30, 2010 3:45 am

Sometimes my ongame client stalls/crashes and my hand histories are wiped from their folder. I just finished a session where this happened. I have the hand numbers however and am able to access them on the pokernetwork.co.uk server.

Is there a way I can import these manually?

Thanks

PT3 cannot import hands using the web links unfortunately as that would put too much strain on the OnGame servers (we've been told).

Is there any way I can manually copy/paste the hands and then convert into text that pokertracker can read?

It's really frustrating to be able to access the hand histories but not able to import them.

Would writing a program in C++ or something to do this be that difficult? (the answer to this is probably yes if I can't answer it myself - but I think I could brush up on my C)

I know this is more ongame's problem and not yours.
Thanks

If I remember rightly the web hand histories are in a slightly different format to the "real" hand histories - if you were able to adjust the format then the hands should import, but I don't know how different they are.
We do plan to support this format but I'm not sure when - if you copy & paste the text of the hand histories to a plain text file (e.g. Notepad) and attach it to a Support ticket I'll pass it on to the development team and remind them about this.
