MAC: Beta v3.07.3 Hud Issues (Solution)

We have uploaded a new build for the Mac. If you have already downloaded and installed v3.07.3 please follow all of these steps:

1) Drag /Applications/PokerTracker to the trash. Your preferences will not be deleted.
2) Download v3.07.3 from the downloads page.
3) Double-click the PT-Install-v3.07.3.dmg file.
4) Control-click the PokerTracker 3.mpkg and click Get Info.
5) The date should be Today (August 20, 2010)
6) Double-click the PokerTracker 3.mpkg installer.

Note:

• If the package won't redownload try Option-clicking the download link, cancel the download, and reclicking the download link.
• The time on the PokerTracker 3.mpkg will be in local time. The package was created on August 20, 2010 22:09 EDT (GMT-4).

did exactly what was explained here and the HUD is still not appearing. it seems the hands are now being imported, at least, but that's really of no help without the HUD.

Check and make sure your ~/Documents/PokerTracker/PokerTrackerHud.log has the line:

ah.. apologies.. i do see that line, although the time is different. i suppose that is normal, though.

After numerous download attempts, I finally got the file to download. After installation, PT crashed a couple of times then finally loaded, but still no HUD. My pokertrackerhud.log file reads: 2010/08/21 00:30:36.698: [Hud Main][System] Build: Aug 20 2010 22:04:06

I would also note that in the auto-import tab, the first half of the lines in the "Import Status:" window are shaded, which I haven't seen before. The bolded part of the line below is what I am referring to:

Also, I have to force quit the pokertrackerhud process from activity monitor after closing PT. Previously I had to do this when the HUD would occasionally freeze on the screen, but with the v3.07.3 the hud never appears on the screen even though the process comes up on activity monitor and must be force quit even when PT is closed.

Please report these problems and post the ticket numbers. I'm playing on Stars right now so I know it's not a general problem.
