How much will PokerTracker 3 cost?
The cost for PokerTracker 3 has not yet been determined; however, it will be comparable to the current cost of PokerTracker and PokerAce Hud.
I am an existing PokerTracker/PokerAce Hud customer. Will I receive a discount?
Yes, current PokerTracker/PokerAce Hud customers will receive a special upgrade price dependent on the length of time that they have owned PT/PAH prior to upgrading to PT3. Below is the percentage of your original PT/PAH purchase price that will be applied to your PT3 purchase:
Ex: You purchased PT2 and PAH on 2/19/2008. PT3 is released on 3/25/2008. If you upgrade to PT3 prior to 4/19/08 you will receive 100% of your PT2/PAH purchase towards PT3. If you purchase after 4/19/08 and before 8/19/08, you will receive 60% of your PT2/PAH purchases price towards PT3. |

When will the alpha and beta testing start?
Alpha testing began on December 8, 2007. Public beta testing began on January 24, 2008.
When will the commercial version of PokerTracker be on sale?
The official release date of PokerTracker 3 is May 15, 2008.
I would like to help test PokerTracker 3 prior to release.

Will PokerTracker 3 and PokerAce Hud be combined?
Yes, PokerTracker and PokerAce Hud will be combined into the same application.
Please add 3bet and 4bet statistics.
3bet and 4bet statistics have already been implemented and will be available on every street. Please view our screenshot of the 'General Tab' which contain 3bet information.
Will PokerTracker 3 work with old PokerTraker databases?
Yes and no. Since the database structure is entirely different you will either need to convert your old database to a PokerTracker 3 database; however, the problem with this is that the old database structure does not contain nearly the information the new database does so some of the new statistics will not be available. If you want all of the new statistics available then you will need to reimport your hands.

Performance

How fast will PokerTracker 3 import hands?
This is dependent upon the games you are playing and your computer. 6max games will import faster than full ring. Tournaments may take longer than cash games. Import speeds are also highly dependent on your cpu and hard drive speed. Regardless, imports will be much faster than PokerTracker v2.
How fast will stat retrieval be for the various reports?
Stat retrieval should be as fast or faster than the current version of PokerTracker.
Will the built in HUD display statistics faster than is currently possible with PokerAce Hud?
Yes. There are numerous advantages to having the HUD built into PokerTracker 3 rather than it being a separate stand alone application. One of these advantages is that stats will be displayed much faster and will update immediately after the import finishes.
