Page last updated: 10/10/2006 11:40:09 PM How To Use the UB Hand History Tool First, I would like to thank Kevin Ross (kross) for creating this program. Anyone that has been loading UB hand histories into their Poker Tracker database will find this program to be a great time saver. The program can be downloaded here: www.pokertracker3.com/products/PTH/files/UltimateHistory.exe Save this file to your hard-drive. Once saved, double-click to open it. From the File menu, select "Preferences". On the window that opens, click the "Change" button to tell the program where you want the files that are saved to be stored on your hard drive. Click OK to save the changes once you select the folder. Note: you only need to do this the first time you use the program as it remembers the settings the next time you run it.
From the File menu, select "Start" When you do this, all of tables that you have open will appear in the list saying "Waiting for history window".
From the UB table window, click the "Hand History" button in the lower right corner of the window. Once you do this, the window will change from saying "Waiting for history window" to "Save hand #xxxx-xxx". The hands are saved to a file in the folder you specified when setting up the preferences. The name of the file will be <table name>.txt.
Now as you play, this program will check to see when a new hand has started and will request the previous hand for you. Once retrieved, it saves the hand to file and, used in conjunction with the Poker Tracker auto-import window, you can now load your hands virtually in real time. PLEASE NOTE: this program relies on a
new hand starting up in order to request the previous hand. If you are
playing at a table and it breaks up such that there is no next hand then
the last hand you played at that table will not be requested. This will be
up to you to go to the hand history window, click the up arrow to change
the hand number and then click the "Request Hand Number" button.
