Problem solved :mrgreen:. I had downloaded PostgreSQL on the official website thinking it was the best source ; however there is no configuration assistant. I downloaded it again through another source, and it worked installing the postgres user automatically. Thank you very much, on my way to PT4.

did your other program not create a system user of any sort?

As I said, I did not use any other program. This is the answer I get right from the start. I will try I a new clean install, although I simply can't find neither the "/Library/PostgreSQL.
