I don´t use a mac but the windows version has the same problem. Using the previous version works until the problem with the new version is fixed.

I usually go to the download page and copy the download url into my clipboard. After that i check the changelog for the last version number and fiddle with the copied url. WIth some luck the old version is still on the server.
