Are the dates in the database, or were they in the hand histories? If you click on database -> database management, you can purge these tourneys and try to reimport them again.

If you are being told they are duplicates, then they ARE in your database. There is no way they cannot be otherwise. When you click on the clear button does this not show them in the cash database?
