I'm running out of ideas. Try reinstalling PostgreSQL again now that you've uninstalled Microsoft SQL.

This hand imported fine for me. What does the version number of your PTS say now?

They should import. If they don't post one of them here so I can what the difference is.

Maybe problem with Win7? I doubt it. I just played a ring stud hand and I was able to import it, but i couldn't import the tournament hand you posted. I will try to play a tournament later and see what happens. Do you play FTP and import using PTS all the time or is this the first you've played in ...

Install this beta patch that I put out awhile ago:

Then try importing Ring and Tournaments. Do they all import?

What version number of PTS are you currently using?

Do you need Microsoft SQL Server 2008? Try uninstalling Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and see if PostgreSQL can then be started.

The PTS error is a result of the PostgreSQL server not running.
