Re: autorate bug

OK, I've done that and all is well, including auto import. Another question. Background: I've set my rules for 6-max, run Rate Players for 6-max tables only and have all my rules in place. I now decide to switch to full ring (which I played for all of 2009 but not in 2010) . I export my 6max rules a...

Re: autorate bug

It works in so far as you can import the rules into auto rate and have all your icons, descriptions and rulesets show up in the auto rate window. Rate Players runs, although it categorizes a small number of players incorrectly, and auto update doesn't seem to work at all. I imagine that something so...

Re: autorate bug

26 icons? I wasn't aware there was any way to add icons to the list. Oh, yeah - see my earlier post. There were 22 + the default on that .ate file. You appear to be able to add as many as you like. Just make 'em in an image-creation prog and call 'em ar_16.png and so on. (I replaced 1-15 with my ow...

Re: autorate bug

(1) Yes, with autorate during auto import enabled, the icons are updated automatically as hands are imported and, if you run a full Rate Players first you shouldn't ever need to run it again (unless you import hands manually and don't have autorate on manual import checked). (2) Yes, it should chan...

Re: autorate bug

Not sure I see the logic in that. After all, everyone has an icon, don't they, even if that icon is ar_1 'Does not conform to any ruleset'. If users found they were getting too many ar_1s then they'd need to adjust their rulesets, but at least they wouldn't be misled into thinking a player conforms ...

Re: autorate bug

I added a Not Sure Yet icon with a simple ruleset < 50 Hands, set it to priority 1 and re-ran Rate Players with a minimum hand requirement of 6. Still some players with 'old' icons weren't getting new ones, and no statistics were shown in the Rate Players window. A spot check revealed that these pla...

Re: autorate bug

Hmm. Looking through my db, there are several players whose icons don't conform. I've been playing around a bit with auto-rate recently, so it's probably my fault. I wanted to revise it to a system with home-made icons and more of them, and I've run auto-rate a few times with different rules and dif...

Re: autorate bug

Relatedly, how does auto-rate decide the icon of a player that doesn't conform to all of any one rule's criteria (but complies with part of more than one rule)? For example, two of my 6max LHE rules are: (1) Tight-Aggressive/Aggressive: VPIP 16-30; PFR 16-20; AFq 45-65 (2) TAG-Nit/Aggressive: VPIP <...
