I just wanted to say . . .

As a long-time PT2 user, I wasn't best pleased when, as I saw it, PTrack Pat abandoned me to the mercies of PT3, forcing me to shell out $$$ for a piece of software that would do essentially the same thing. After using PT3 for a year, and discovering just how powerful a tool it can be, I'm more than...

Re: Making and using 'own stat' stats?

It makes sense in that I'd only need to change one thing per stat rather than all the individual conditions, so thanks. :)

Making and using 'own stat' stats?

a) I like to colour my opponents' HUD stats relative to my own. I do this presently by using condition expressions based on the numerical values of each of my stats, but I'd like to automate it to accommodate potential changes in my play. To do this, I think I'd need to make new stats that would ret...

Re: New release notification screen on start-up

WhiteRider wrote:OK - you should have had a reply to your ticket. What is the ticket number?

You obviously found it :)

BTW, if I had posted the ticket no. here, would others have been able to access it? (Reason I ask is that it shows my email addy, which isn't ideal if it's a public document.)

Re: New release notification screen on start-up

Now, this is odd - when I fired up PT3 today I didn't get the nag screen. (I didn't disable it yesterday.)

Re: 3.0 beta 30.10 Problem.

Because I had this problem, I checked the 'Don't show this message again box'. But now it doesn't show any messages. I found out about the new build only by chance. How can I switch checking for updates at startup back on again? And is there a way to check on demand, a la PT2?

Re: Cloning a HDD

You'd still need to change the data directory value in the postgres.conf file, but so long as the database service is stopped while you do the cloning that should work. Presumably this is the postgres.conf file on the C drive rather than the clone (F)? That's presently #data_directory = 'ConfigDir'...

Re: Cloning a HDD

Thanks. Any (rough) idea how long cloning might take? C (300Gb) has 150Gb on it and F (180Gb) about 90. Both are 7200 and I have Acronis TrueImage.
