Re: Performance in Reports still poor in comparison to HEM1

At first I thought it might be live scanning from ESET NOD 5 so I excluded postgres.exe, pg_ctl.exe and pokertracker.exe from scanning but it is still sloooooooow. For EST NOD you want to exclude the entire Postgres directory. On of the following should be in your exclusions: C:\Program Files\Postg...

You're correct, I'm 100% wrong. However, that's how it was supposed to work so it will be fixed for the next release.

Re: Memory and CPU use question.

4 tables Zoompoker . Database is approx 500k hands. In that case it is pretty normal. You can reduce the load by changing your player groups from "Everyone" to "Everyone but Hero". That will keep PT4 from querying your session stats which will reduce the load greatly. If you wan...

Re: Reimporting hands for new version

Batching the hands into very large batches increases the speed a lot. If you are going to reimport all of your hands you should consider first exporting them from PT4 in 10,000 hand per file chunks. We've seen 3-4x speed improvement just by doing that.

Re: How to see Tournament NoteTracker

How can I look at the tournament NoteTracker notes for each player? I have downloaded the rules. My NoteTracker Status claims that it has processed 500K hands ("100.00% Complete), but I haven't seen any automatic notes in the HUD. :? I clicked on "Test" but don't know how to see the ...

Re: Where was Browser settings, cache, & cookies stored befo

We do not interface with iexplorer at all. Our browser is embedded within PT4. Previously your settings were stored in your temporary folder, specifically wherever the %TEMP% environment variable pointed to. The change was mostly a support change so that we could provide clear, easy instructions on ...

Re: Running new NoteTracker rules

Alphabetical sorting is already in for launch. We have a plan for a much cleaner method of allowing manual positioning but due to the changes required it is on the longer term list. We already allow you to filter the auto notes by all of the groups which is a much superior method to tabs. Early in t...
