Not unless the PT3 developers have plans to convert PTS to be part of PT3, and I haven't heard that this is happening any time soon.

PostgreSQL 8.4 is not supported by PT Stud so parts of the program may not work. I know for sure that graphs will not work and there may be other issues. I suggest using an earlier version like 8.3 or 8.2.
