I am 95% sure the Mac beta will commence very quickly once the Win32 version goes final.

but will be a Mac version in 2008?[/quoten7q]I think the official word is summer, at the earliest, so guessing that there will be a version out in 2008 at least.[/quoten7q]

I could assist with coding a mac version if needed.

I'm more of a web/database programmer but I could adapt if necessary. I run mutli-platforms at home - Mac laptop, Windows desktop, Linux server.

Let me know if I can help in any way.

FYI guys, I'm running the PT3 beta via Crossover, and it's working great. Next step is to see if I can get the AHK HUD to work with my mac native FTP and my Crossover PT3.

Does the current version of PAHud work in crossover? If not what happens?

We have not tested this therefore I cannot say for sure but the user who posted directly above you stated that he is having no problems using it in crossover.

dude, you should be spending your time developing a buddy finder for FT and Stars that work on a mac and then, if you are ambitious, something similar to FullTiltShortcuts for a mac. I know I would pay $$ for those types of programs to work in OSX, especially if the ball on my mighty mouse changed the bet amount on a ft tables.

Another option may be to just install Wine for the Mac. Although it appears that X11 is broken in the Apple so no OpenGL support at the moment. Latest packages are for Leopard on Intel.

As the post above states it's possible to get PT3 running using the regular free Darwine (not Crossover).

I've just installed it on Tiger and have it talking to my Linux machine as a postgres server (it also is running PT3 through Wine).

Method used: Install darwine from link above
Install MDAC (not sure if this is required - but it seems likely)
Install the Postgres Win32 client

Install PT3 Beta

My only trouble was there is little errror reporting when trying to connect to the Database - and didn't realise that the Postgres server hadn't had permissions for the Mac's IP to connect - so if you're running a local Postgres server it should be even easier.

Haven't imported hand histories from the Mac yet, but everything seems to be in order, including graphing etc.
