Importing Duplicate Hand #s

Postby QTip » Wed May 12, 2010 12:04 am

I have a project I'm working on where several guys played at the same table. I was hoping I could have everyone send me the HH from their computer and then import them all to my database and the replayer would show everyone's hands face up. However, I'm wondering if there will be a problem with duplicate hand #s. Is there any way to make this happen?

Thx.

I believe the last time that this was tried it did not work as you are hoping for. I think we ended up working around it by adding in lines as if the players all showed their hands at the end but it was a bit of a pain. I'll try to dig that thread up for you.

I would really appreciate that help. This was 250 hands. So, I'd have to edit each hand history?

I think so. Was it an entire SnG or was it a cash game session? The former would probably be less cumbersome to edit . . .

Unfortunately then it was a cash game.

I think I might be able to do it in emacs for you fairly quickly since it should be a fairly automatic procedure, but explaining it would be too complicated.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested and I'll give you my e-mail address to send it to.
