PT3 was free for PartyPoker players to use on that site. Will PT4 continue to be free for PartyPoker players?

I have bad news, that article was incorrect. We havent seen that article before otherwise we would have corrected them sooner.

Existing Party Poker users may purchase PokerTracker via their VIP store, and new Party Poker users can earn PokerTracker if they sign up through PokerTracker's Get It Free deal and complete the playthrough requirements shown here (link only works for non-USA customers). These are the only Party specific deals that are offered by PokerTracker, some third party companies may have their own deals worked out with Party Poker to provide PokerTracker 3 (and soon 4) but we may not be aware of these deals. We plan to continue to offer the Get It Free deal, but we have yet confirmed the availability of PokerTracker 4 in the Party Poker VIP store but we do not anticipate any changes at this time.

Can you realize in PT4
1)Quick search for hand number (now in PT3 its possible only by report)
2) Add hand numbers in favourite
3) the ability to run replay for hand number by html link for local use

We have integrated features into PT4 to make it easier than ever to mark and find the hands you wish that match any of a variety of features, but the exact methods you request were not on our list. We expect that when you try out what we have implemented, though, you'll be very pleased.

A true quote from the lead developer of PokerTracker 4:

Is it done yet? No, not yet. Is it done yet? No, not yet. Is it done yet? ALMOST!

You may be asking yourself, what does "almost" mean? Allow me to elaborate... any day now we will be announcing the official launch date for the PokerTracker 4 Beta Preview. You may have noticed the change in website design today, this is the first of many steps we will be taking in the coming days as the Beta Preview rollout begins.

Instead of a full public beta, we have chosen to take an intermediary step first by releasing a more restricted limited run beta which will start before the holiday season. This Beta Preview will be limited to a smaller group of a few hundred beta testers to assure that the Public Beta release process is as smooth as possible. With the holidays around the corner we decided this was the best possible choice to ensure our to provide technical support to beta testers that they deserve, while giving our development team the time off that they need after working so hard for the past two years to deliver PokerTracker 4.

The Beta Preview will be limited to a few hundred existing PokerTracker 3 users who signup using the link we will provide once the preview date is announced. The full Public Beta is expected to start in the beginning of the New Year, once we finish any revisions that are discovered during the Beta Preview. We will not be announcing the date for the Full Public Beta until we have completed any needed patches to address any major bugs found during the Beta Preview, but we can share that our goal is to deliver the full Public Beta as soon as we feasibly can after the New Year.

This is a very exciting time for all of us at PokerTracker Software, LLC - we hope you enjoy using PokerTracker 4 as much as we have enjoyed creating this application for you.
