All in ev vs actual winnings

Postby tiltedbad » Tue Aug 20, 2013 3:59 am

I read a post before on this site about how all in ev is innaccurate in multiway pots because hole cards are unknown.
My questions is, since I use bovada(I use bovada hand coverter to import into poker tracker), and all hole cards are revealed for all opponents, would all in ev be completely accurate for multiway all in pots as well as heads up all in pots?

Thanks.

Nevermind, I have read the all in ev article on this site. I have one more question about all in ev. If I have 100 dollars, and opponent has 10 dollars, and we both shove all in, I assume pokertracker automatically adjusts my all in to 10 dollars(risking 10 to win 10), rather than calculating with 100 dollars(risking 110 vs 10)?

I know it probably is ridiculous to assume that tracker does not adjust for this, but I just want to make sure.

It adjusts for that. It's based on the actual amount that does go into the pot -- returned money does not count.

Also, do the all in graphs take rake into consideration? Like if I shoved 50 all in, and opponent shoves 50 all in, and I have a 50 percent chance of winning, does the all in ev show as 0(rake no taken into consideration), or negative 1(rake taken into consideration)

Rake is taken into consideration - we use the actual amount paid out to do the calculations.
