Freezing during bulk import

I imported a 100k database and everything went fine. I'm trying to import my monster and I'm stuck at hand 140k. The program is not frozen because the timer is still running. I can't stop the import because the button is not responding, but I can pause it. What should my next step be?

I just went into the task manager and physically ended PT3. I tried re-importing the huge database and the same thing happened; this time at hand 270k. Anyone else having this problem with big databases?

Can you identify the problem HH? please upload on a support ticket if so.

It wasn't one specific file. Every other observed HH from Tilt caused the program to freeze. I'm only importing my own HH now.

I had this problem as well. I sent support the file that I think was causing the problems. As PT3 was importing one line would read the file name (usually in the format of-date, site, table name, stacks-or something like that) and then the next line would read (102 hand imported, 0 errors, 1 duplicate) or some variation of that. The file I identified as the problem was the one that the first line would appear, but then the program would get hung up and the second line would never appear. After sending that file to support, I deleted it and tried the import again. It went fine.

I think I'm having a similar promblem as op, except i wasn't converting my database, I was making a new one from my hh files. I started off with just Full Tilt histories, it started at around 40-50h/s then went all the way down to 7h/s where it stayed. Then it was lagging pretty bad and I couldn't stop the import but I could pause it so I did that then could exit the program so i just had to turn my computer off the old fashioned way. It sounds like many others are having similar problems but i'm having keeping track between all the forums. Is this being considered a bug or is there something i need to do differently? thanks.

I'm working on resolving a lot of these import issues. The next release should work much better.
