installing the upgrade

Each time i install the new beta build, my database gets empty! and i lose all my hud configurations !!!!
it takes me a long time to set them up, its a real hussle doing it every other week again and again.
How do I recover all my hand histories that i have already imported into PT3 before? and how do i keep the new upgrade from destroying all my work ?

Make sure you upgraded to Beta 30.8 - if you downgraded to Build 5.2 you could experience something like what you're describing. If you download and install Beta 30.8 it should fix the problem and your HUD layout should be there once more.

I did upgrade to beta 30.8, it says sio on the program when i run it.
the database is empty, and It did not save my hun config.
this happened before the last upgrade a few weeks ago...
how do I solve this ?

Did you uninstall or delete anything before updating? (you should not)
Did you install to a different place than you installed to before? (you should not)
If you said no to both of those then your config should be intact. Updating PT3 does not delete any databases or configuration.

the previous update i did install to a diffrente direcotory,
but, this time i installed to the same directory ( the new one) so how come it is also empty.

Do you still have the following file:
C:\Program Files\pokertracker 3\data\layouts.pt3
(or wherever you installed to) from before the update?
Try searching your computer for layouts.pt3 - see where it is, and make sure you have installed to the correct place.
If you go to Database > Database Management > New and click Browse to Existing Database do you see your databases listed?
