Negative hand totals

Postby Tilty » Fri Jan 25, 2008 3:35 pm

I have negative hand totals in the player summary for some limits in the general tab. The player statstics box below seems to be correct.

Would you be able to post screenshots? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying and these numbers are hard to read with this formatting.

How do you make and post the screen shot?

In the mean time I'll try to format a smaller section better to see if it makes sense:

Limit --- Hands --- Hands Won
$3/$6 --- (160) --- 24 ((15.00)%)
$2/$4 --- (458) --- 481 ((105.02)%)

and

Limit --- Hands
$3/$6 --- 279
$2/$4 --- 2,262

Note above the hands total in parenthesis (i.e. negative). As new hands are autoimported while I play the counter increases as you would expect closer to zero. Note also the odd double parenthesis in the hands won column.

edit: I used "---" as a delimeter since the spaces didn't work.

Oh, it's saying you have negative hands played? I think the import must have messed up. What import method did you use?

Edit: Duh, Josh. Try reading the title of the post next time. :? Sorry.

For future reference, ALT-PRINT SCREEN captures the active window. You can then paste this capture into Microsoft Paint and save it as an image.

Manual import from histories processed and saved by PT2. What I mean is I let PT2 move and store processed hand histories to a temp directory so I had several months worth of files there. But they were all histories that successfully imported to PT2.

In addition I have been playing while letting PT3 autoimport, but I would guess it was from the old text files. I got a lot of "unexpected end of hand history errors". At least it seemed like a lot, but importing 10k hands and seeing 100 such errors maybe isn't a lot.

OK, I vaguely knew that part (never could remember if it was CTRL or ALT). But how do I post it here if I don't have a website to host the picture?

CTRL-PRINT SCREEN captures your entire desktop
ALT-PRINT SCREEN will only capture the active window

You will need to attach the image to a [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/support/index.php?cat_id=35tu]support ticket[/url5tu] if you are unable to host the image elsewhere and link to it in the forums.

Best regards,

I've fixed a lot of problems in the import routine for the next version. Please let me know if you have the same problems with a re-import once it's released.

Will I have to purge everything and/or start a new database then?
