PT3 HUD: Multitabling not possible with notebook

Postby mrmicman » Mon Oct 11, 2010 10:28 pm

Hello

I am using PT3 on my desktop pc and my notebook (Intel Atom 1,6 GHZ, 2 GB RAM).

On my desktop pc I have no problems, everything works fine. But if I am starting the HUD at my notebook the CPU usage rises up to 100% and when I am playing a few tables at stars I have massive lags at Pokerstars and at Everest it' s not possible to play only 1 table.

Does PT3 really need so much ressources and can' t the HUD be used on a slower machine?

What is the hard disk like in your notebook? Database access is very hard disk intensive so if you have a slow disk with very little space then it will struggle.
Please check the FAQ: PT3 HUD for optimizations.

I have stored the database on a network drive so I think thats not the problem because the desktop pc and the notebook are reading from the same device
