Is it always the same file or does the file change each time you test?

I seem to be having the same problem.

I'm a long-time user, but just figured out you now support doyles/ACR/Yatahay. I was able to successfully import my 30 day history, but when I started playing and turned on auto import, I received this message:

"Winning Poker Network: Loading hand history file: C:\Doyles Room\profiles\Beginner Jay\HandHistory\Beginner Jay\HH20120401 G2572.phh"
"Winning Poker Network (Yatahay): Error: Unknown file type."

Suggestions?

Thanks

Are hands importing generally?
Are you seeing that for all .phh files or just that one?

Are you using at least v3.12 of PT3?
If not, please update.

Thanks for the quick reply. The next time I started PT up, it seemed to import the hands I played previously. Now, the HUD seems to work except that if I move myself on the table (so that, for example, I was in the lop right, but I rotate the table so I am in the top left), the HUD stats don't move.

Also, in the tournament history, none of the buyins seem to be tracked. For example, in the summary it lists 91 tournaments, but every buyin is listed as $0.00.

"Sit me here" is not supported as nothing changes in the hand history file to indicate where you have moved to. Only true "preferred seating" options where you pre-select which seat you will always be shown in is supported.

As far as I'm aware there is no buy-in information in the hand histories for Yatahay tournaments. Please see the Tournaments FAQ for more information.

I've been getting the "unknown file type" error for years (see previous post). Today I'd thought I'd check support for anything new. Sadly, no.

I recently installed PT3 on a new computer - I was hoping the problem would go away, but no. Here's what happens to me:

About 80% of the time I move to a new table I get these kind of messages. I can start importing again by stopping auto import and starting it up again as I did here:

2014/03/28 20:03:46: Winning Poker Network (Yatahay): Hand Imported (#268044427) from BIG10 - $3,000 GTD, Table 6
2014/03/28 20:04:49: Winning Poker Network: Loading hand history file: C:\AmericasCardroom\profiles\Beginner Jay\HandHistory\Beginner Jay\HH20140328 T1579468-G15960314.phh
2014/03/28 20:06:09: Winning Poker Network (Yatahay): Error: Unknown file type.
2014/03/28 20:10:19: Revolution: Stopping auto-import.
2014/03/28 20:10:19: Winning Poker Network: Stopping auto-import.
2014/03/28 20:10:19: Auto-Import stopped.
2014/03/28 20:10:19:
2014/03/28 20:10:26: Auto-Import beginning
2014/03/28 20:10:26: Revolution: Starting auto-import.
2014/03/28 20:10:26: Winning Poker Network: Starting auto-import.
2014/03/28 20:10:26: Revolution: Found 0 files to monitor.
2014/03/28 20:10:26: Winning Poker Network: Found 1 files to monitor.
2014/03/28 20:10:26: Winning Poker Network: Loading hand history file: C:\AmericasCardroom\profiles\Beginner Jay\HandHistory\Beginner Jay\HH20140328 T1579468-G15960314.phh
2014/03/28 20:10:38: Winning Poker Network (Yatahay): Hand Imported (#268045631) from BIG10 - $3,000 GTD, Table 11

Sometimes it fails by just not updating (which I usually don't notice for awhile). Other times the HUD doesn't appear at the new table, so I notice quickly.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Another problem I have is when I have two tables on my screen, sometimes (but not always), the HUD overlays the data from one table on the other. Sometimes the table being displayed shifts back and forth.

Not all Winning tournament tables have unique names and if you're playing at two of the same type at the same time this can happen. PT4 has a table selection mechanism to allow you to select the correct table for the Hud in situations like this.

Please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can investigate.

You should also consider taking advantage of the PT3 owners' discount to upgrade to PT4. PT3 reaches its end of life this summer, after which it will no longer be updated or supported.
There is of course a free trial so that you can check it out first.
