888 Snap Poker

Pokertracker 3 seems to be unable to import snap-handhistory. Is there a fix to make this work?

I'm not aware of any problems there - please make sure you're using the current version (PT3 Download Page) and if the hands still don't import then open a Support Ticket and attach one of the hand history files which doesn't import.

In the handhistory map there are .txt files and .dat files. When auto-import is running Pokertracker gives the error '888 Poker: Error: Unexpected beginning of hand history.' and moves the .txt files to the processed files map. The .dat files are kept in the handhistory folder itself. I will make a support ticket....

When trying to import the .txt or .dat manual PT gives this error: ': Unrecognized file format.'

First of all - make sure that you're using our latest version (that's v3.14.7 for PT3). 888 updated their software some time ago and changed the hand history format.

Sorry - the new Snap tables are not supported in PT3. You will need to upgrade to PT4 for Snap support. PT3 will reach its end of life in a few months, and we recommend everyone to take advantage of the upgrade discount for PT3 owners - PT4 is updated earlier and more often than PT4, and has many advantages.
