Making an intuitive leap of what you might want next...

Well that seemed to work...

Try running the installer again and see what happens.

PS. When you paste your screenshot into Paint (or whatever you are using), resize the canvas so the image is only as big as the screenshot. It should probably even ask you if you want to automatically resize to fit...

Resize it *tiny* then paste - it will grow to accommodate.

Looks like progress :)

No, no progress that I can see. I still get the same errors as before.

To clarify, you are still getting this? If so, that makes no sense to me... :?

You should now have a database cluster... did initdb not create a load of new folders in program files\postgresql\data ?

And what happens if you hit OK during that error message?

After I hit "OK", I then sequentially get these windows (try to create in 2nd one but fails/gives window 3)

Go into this window:

And open "Services". Do you see PostgreSQL Database Server listed? If so, double click it. Is it started? If not, try to manually start it and see what happens.

Best regards,

Derek

I am starting to wonder if "Remote Assistance" may be of value here? or VNC / TeamViewer / etc.
