In that case the problem is most likely your firewall - please make sure it's configured to allow PostgreSQL as explained in this document and that should most likely get things working for you.

Is this for PT4? You posted in the PT3 forum.

In that case, please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

You can also hold alt and click the PokerTracker icon to start it with logging. And you can find the file by clicking Start typing %appdata%, clicking on the folder when it appears, going up one folder, then into Local and PokerTracker 4. That's the same location you'd get by going through the PT4 link.

I clicked on PT4 using alt but don't know how to get the log file from this window. This window is not the same window that I entered the code for my PT4 I bought its the properties window that I have open here.

To get to the folder with the log file click Start (on XP click Run) and paste in this exact path:

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\PokerTracker 4

It won't be in the logs folder, it'll be in the main folder. It's a text file called PokerTracker.

This brings me to 3 files, CONFIG, DATA & LOGS. The 1st file has various other files in it which are not readable by my computer and the other 2 are empty, Do you have any idea what the problem is or time frame for when it can be fixed?
