Two databases on two drivers - is it possible?

Postby 72worm » Wed May 29, 2013 11:37 am

I would like to use two databases on two different drivers on my computer. (one on the 'C' - which is a 60GB SSD, so it's not too large but very quick - for my own database and the other one on the another driver for the purchased hands)
Is there any possibility to create a new database on other driver than the default?
(sorry for my English)

It's possible, but it's not the easiest thing to set up. You'd need to set up a tablespace, as explained here.

Thank you so much! You were right it was not the simplest thing that I've done but I could do that although I'm a donkey in the computing. Great job mate, thank you again!
