Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Do you see PostgreSQL in the list? If so, can you start it?

Can't install PostgresSQL

Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Do you see PostgreSQL in the list? If so, can you start it?

Do you have MacAfee installed now or previously? Most of the times I've run into this error it's because MacAfee failed to uninstall completely.
