Have just downloaded new version and poker tracker is now not working, any advice? It says pacific poker does not appear to be installed.

Click File --> Setup Wizard and try going through the setup wizard to get everything configured. It should walk you through what you need to do.

The newest PT3 version should work just fine with Pacific. If my above instructions did not get things working for you, please create a support ticket and one of our technicians will assist you in getting things working properly.

when u install pacific poker software sometimes it unchecks "save hand history" and deletes whatever handhistory txt's u had from last version..
So try to check this option in pacific poker software, play a few hands. then close down pacific poker and re-open it. then once again go into pokertracker and choose "auto detect" and it will find the path for files (although it might still say "pacific poker doesnt seem to be installed" which it does for me but yet it works).

EDIT: Sorry I just noticed I posted this pokertracker answer on pokerace .. But maybe its working the same way as with pokertracker3 ...

You need hand histories saving in order to have the data be used for PT2 or PT3 so yes that would be a problem for both versions of our software.
