Try disabling any anti-virus software that you may have installed. Some third party software is conflicting with PokerAce Hud...

Go Start->Run, 'msconfig' OK to open your System Configuration window. Under the 'Boot' tab, select 'Safe boot' and 'Network'. Apply->OK and boot into safe mode.

In safe mode, start PokreAce Hud and see if it starts up without the error message. If it starts then this confirms that some third party software is interfering with PAH. It the same problem occurs then it's another issue.

Boot back into normal mode by repeating the above steps but this time unchecking 'Safe boot'.

I'll try it but there's NOT any 3rd party software installed (default system configuration recently installed, it's not possible as I said before).
The problem come from the system permission, I don't know why the software request to be installed under Administration rights (?), anyway I tried to run it as Administrator and it's the same.

Boot back into safe mode, completely uninstall PokerAce Hud and then reinstall (while in safe mode) and hopefully that resolves the issue. Make sure that your main PokerAce Hud directory is removed prior to reinstalling. You may need to manually do this...

I have this same problem. Running the latest PAhud and latest PT2. Is this still the recommended solution?

FWIW I just recently had to go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder and rename the file ptrack.mdb to ptrack_bad.mdb and then rename ptrack_backup.mdb to ptrack.mdb

If you're having the same problem then please follow the same steps.
Changes to your database shouldn't make any difference as long as they were done while PT2 and PAH were not running.
