confirmed-- even histories that imported successfully in the past don't import through the "check pop3 email" function. Why are they always "upgrading" everything??? :x

When the window comes up asking you what emails to import, click the "Save to file" option and give it a folder to save to. Once you get the error message, look at the file that was created. Is it empty or does it contain the text of the summary? If it contains the summary text, use the online support system to send me the file...

If the file is empty, then this is usually the result of an anti-virus/firewall program like AVG that causes this.
