I am having this same problem, I use Vista, and I opened everything as Run as Admin

Did you check the folder that you have told PT to look for files in??? Are there any files there? If not then you aren't doing something right. Either you aren't running PS as admin or the files are being saved somewhere else. Click the Help link at the top right corner of the PokerStars auto-import window and make sure you have Stars setup to save the files to the hard drive and that you are pointing PT to the right folder like it details there.

Hi - I think I'm being a total retard here, but how do I download the patch? I've tried saving it to the usual Pokertracker folder within Program Files but I still get the same error message.

Help here would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You need to double-click on the EXE file after you download it to install it.

So I just downloaded the patch, I open up PT, and all of my hands are gone. Well they aren't gone because I just opened up PAHUD and it pulled up stats on players. But when I click the stats tab there are no results for ring games. But my tourney stats show up normal.

The patch doesn't even touch the database files. Are you using Vista? If so, then make sure you are running as administrator as detailed in the FAQ

Never mind, guess it was just a momentary glitch, all of my hands are showing up again.

Still doesn't work for me. :(
I installed patch, but still getting these messages:
Error Message: Unable to get the game date(2)...
From/Version: Import (2.17.03b)

I have Windows XP.
I'm in Australia so my Regional options set to Australia. Does it matter?

Date in HH file look like this:
"PokerStars Game #20941069066: Hold'em No Limit ($0.10/$0.25) - 2008/10/05 6:22:04 ET"

What's the problem?

What does the version number say in the the title bar of the main PT2 window?

Are you letting PT change the regional settings at startup? You should be.

Are you using Vista?

Open the Utilities > Error Log Display/Maintenance window. Click the Export button. Copy/paste the first 20 or so lines from that file into a reply here.
