POKERSTARS patch for "unable to get game date(2)..." errors.

Postby ptrack pat » Tue Sep 02, 2008 3:04 pm

Sept 2 2008 - PokerStars update has caused PT2 to start giving errors because they changed the format of the date/time display in the hand histories. The patch to fix this, v2.17.03B is here...

I'm sure Mike will have one up as soon as he gets home from work and can fix it. Post this issue on the Omaha forum, this is the Hold'em forum.

Do you have PT move your processed files to another folder? If so, copy the files from today back to your hand history folder and use the Force Import button on the auto-import window to get PT to reprocess the files.

I have my processed hand histories moved to another folder, how exactly do i retrieve them so that I can reprocess the ones with error messages?

Edit- I simply installed the patch and when i opened up auto import it informed me that I had unprocessed hand histories in my folder. I forced an import and all of the hands I played were processed normally. Problem Solved!

Are you using Vista? If so, make sure you are starting ALL your poker software using 'run as administrator', Vista should prompt you to cancel/allow all the programs to run when you try to start them

I have the errored HH's in my folder with all the other hands, but clicking "force import" doesn't reimport the hands. I'm using Windows XP.

Actually, maybe I don't. Now I'm really confused.

What folder? The PokerStars hand history folder? If so, then if they aren't importing when you click Force Import then all the hands have already been imported. If these files are in the processed files folder then you need to move them back to the PokerStars hand history folder and then use the force import.
