OBDC Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed

Postby jvanstry » Sat Jan 17, 2009 9:46 pm

I am running on Windows Vista and I get this message when I open up my PTO along with "could not find file C:\program files\poker tracker omaha\ptracko.mdb"

when I click okay I'm then prompted with a login screen that looks kinda like this:

"Data Source
PTRACKO

Authorization
Login Name: 'admin'
Password: [blank] "

along with the buttons "OK, Cancel, Database..., Help"

After pressing cancel in this login screen I receive the message

"Database Error

Unable to connect to the database.

100-No data was found to satisfy the request."

Look in C:\program files\poker tracker omaha\ and tell me what .mdb files are there. Also, have you done anything recently like compact or repair your database?

i recently tried compacting my database for the first time and it seems to have precipitated this entire problem.

the following is in my folder:

ptoreg.mdb
ptracko_backup.mdb
hhdbo.mdb

OK, what version of PTO are you using?

What is the date/time and size of the ptracko_backup.mdb file?

Go back to the c:\program files\poker tracker omaha folder. Now go to the Compatibility Files folder. Is there also a ptracko_backup.mdb file there? If so what is the date/time and size of that file?

Version 1.13.03

1/6/09 / 3:34am EST / 38.6 MB

I don't see a Compatibility Files Folder

OK, then rename ptracko_backup.mdb to ptracko.mdb and restart PTO. Any hands played since 01/06/2008 will need to be re-imported.

I am having a similar problem. When I select ptracko.mdb it fails to find it. I don't have any password to enter as well.

I dont have any backup files though

Advice plz

Ok it seems the previous problem has resolved. I selected ptracko.mdb, entered no password, and it went through.

Now though, no tables are displayed in the hud. I have selected the omaha database and the instant replay directory for absolute.

Any clue why no tables are showing up? My hands are importing smoothly.

Thanks

You're better off posting the question in the PA HUD section of the forum. They will be able to help better.
