PTO does not start

Hi,
My PTO tracker worked for a while but now it just does not start up,
when i look into processes the pto.exe process is there, but it just doesnt start,
i have already reinstalled it but that did not fix it,
i did run a regestry cleaning program, could have something to do with that,

any suggestions are welcome,

That probably was the cause.

Backup the data files listed here:
viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2333

Then uninstall PTO using Add/Remove programs and reinstall the full version of the program which you can get here:
http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PTO/download.php

Restore the data files you backed up.

Then create a new support ticket and send me the new product ID from the Help > About Poker Tracker Omaha window so I can get you a new code.

Hi,
i already deleted pto by using Add/Remove programs and reinstalled it but no help,
still the same problem, process appears but pto does not start,,
there was no need to backup a database cuz it was still small and i can re-import.
i also deleted the pto folder that was remaining in program files before reinstalling.

Is there any message at all when you start the program? Did the registry cleaning software you installed have other features that may block programs from running? You might want to disable (or uninstall) that other program and then see if PTO runs.

Also, are you using Vista? If so are you running PTO as administrator?

i have exactly the same problem. pto runned before, but does not start anymore. deinstalled and installed again etc. didnt work. i'm logged in as admin and using xp.

You mean you ran some registry cleaning program? See what I wrote to the other person that never got back to me and let me know what applies to your situation if anything.
