DB conversion using postgres 8.4 Can't do it.

Postby Gato_Vago » Fri Mar 12, 2010 7:28 am

Hello.

It has been a while since I used PTO, I never paid any attention to the DB conversion procedure. Now I want to convert my data but I have installed Postgres 8.4 to work with another program.

When I try to use the postgres settings for PTO I am using the password and username for the other program but it does not show any ODBC entry to use. When I try to use the default user -postgres- and password -dbpass- for PTO nothing happens either, so I assume I am doing something wrong.

How shall I proceed?

Thanks.

Just so you know, PTO doesn't work 100% with PostgreSQL 8.4. You should use version 8.3 or 8.2.
