- In PokerTracker 3, go Configure->Options->Logging Enabled. When logging is enabled, this option will be checked. (See attached screenshot as a reference)
- Restart PokerTracker 3 for logging to take effect.
- Replicate the problem or do what support has advised.
- Note: Do NOT restart PokerTracker 3 during this time as it will overwrite the log file
- Open "My Computer"
- Browse to your main PokerTracker 3 directory and select the 'PokerTracker.log' and 'PokerTrackerHUD.log' files.
- Note: For English computers this typically is C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\. It is not located in the \logs folder.
- Note: If you do not have extensions enabled in Windows, the log files may only appear as 'PokerTracker (text document)' and 'PokerTrackerHUD (Text Document)'.
- Right click -> Send to Compressed Folder. This will create a new .zip file in the same folder, containing both log files.
- If any other files have been requested too you can drag them onto the zip file to include them too.
- Send the zip file via the PokerTracker Support system.
If you can't run PT3 to enable logging, you will need to configure it manually.- Edit the file
C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data\Config\PokerTracker.cfg - Make sure it includes
[General]
Logging=Y - Save your changes.
- Edit the file
