pt4 with postgres already installed

Hi, I have just downloaded PT4. I already have postgres as I occasionally need it for work, although I am not so knowledgeable of the details with it. I saw the installation guide but when prompted to "Configure PostgreSQL Server", even after entering the details of my pre-existing database (Correct server, port, user and password), it appears unable to connect. I have postgres version 13...

PT4 should work with an existing PostgreSQL installation - although we do not offically support versions after 9.6 I know quite a few people are using v10 or 11 at least. I'm not sure about 13, but I doubt anything changed so significantly that it wouldn't connect at all.
If you open a Support Ticket one of our support techs will work with you to get things connected.

Thanks for letting me know that people are using v10 or 11. I Attempted to install version 9.6 but there was some conflict because visual c++ was outdated. After trying postgres v10 it seems to have gone through fine!
