Trial version brining HM2 database over

Postby brandyballz » Wed Apr 07, 2021 12:41 pm

Hi there,

I am on the trial version of PT4 and was just setting it up. It had an issue bringing over the hands from my HM2 database in the setup phase, it seemed to get stuck.

Is there any good way to go about getting this done?

You can manually import any missed hands into PokerTracker 4 using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk'. All original hands that are auto-imported by Holdem Manager 2 get moved to an archive for performance reasons. That will be in C:\HM2Archive by default but you may have put it elsewhere. Depending on the number of hands you have this import may take some time and you cannot import manually and use PokerTracker 4 on live tables at the same time. If required you can break the import up into smaller chunks/folders and using this method the average import speed will be quicker since import speeds can drop over time during large imports.
