Installation error

Hi,

Please during installation i have the following error: ,,an error occured executing the Microsoft VC ++ runtime instaler".

Can you help me please?

Presuambly that's happening when PostgreSQL (the program where PokerTracker 4 stores your poker data) is installing? If so please manually download and install PostgreSQL v10 from here and for the two password boxes use 'dbpass' (no quotes) which is what PokerTracker 4 uses by default. If that PostgreSQL install does not complete successfully then in Windows open File Explorer and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\Temp

In this folder there should be a file called 'install-postgresql.log' - please attach that file to a Support Ticket so we can follow up on this issue with you.

Assuming that you have a 64-bit computer and operating system (most modern computers are) then yes, get the latest 64-bit version of v10.
If you're not sure, try the 64-bit version - if your computer isn't 64-bit it will tell you that you have the wrong version and you can then get the 32-bit version instead.

I tried to download and install the latest version of PostgreSQL. Pokertracker would still not work. So I uninstalled and downloaded version 10.22 and installed it. That one worked.

So don't get the latest version, get 10.22 and manually install it. That worked.
