Asian converters security

Postby bruzi » Mon Jan 22, 2024 1:51 am

Hello!
Since I see that you cooperate with them and have them in your offer, do you guarantee the safety of those converters? Are we in some way exposed and vulnerable by installing that converter in the sense that someone can access information in my PC that they shouldn't have access to?
Is there any chance that someone could see something that they shouldn't in real time, even cards or something similar?

We are asked for some strange things, permissions and access when installing applications.

Thank you and best regards!

I apologize for the delay.

The Asian Converter are created by EliteHud and are not owned by us therefore we do not have the source code and we cannot "guarantee" anything.

With that said, we have done network traffic audits and the only communication between the program and their servers are at startup and then every X hours (which I believe is 24).

The reason for the slow reply is that our last audit was awhile ago and I asked our team to do another audit and was hoping to have that completed to reply to you but they have not yet had time to complete it.

There is zero reason for us to believe that the Asian Converter are anything but safe and if we had any indication that anything was was shady that we'd immediately pull their product and notify our customers.

Best regards,

Derek

Are you planning to insert your own converter and not use third parties?
