database update?

HI,
I have problems with pt4. When I open it is request if want proceed with a database update. If I confirm after some minutes of working in progress arrive a error message.

Instead have all reports loaded (graph and stats) there is a error message :
Error: Unable to execute query: Fatal Error; ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block

If I skip the database update it seems pt4 is working properly, but unfortunately the hud not work to the poker tables.

I tried both to unistall and istall again pokertracker and restore windows to the last restore point but both solution not works

Please, help me

This particular error only happens with very old PostgreSQL versions such as v8.4 which reached its end-of-life in 2014 and is below the minimum required version for PokerTracker 4. To fix the issue you will need to install and use a newer PostgreSQL version and then restore your database(s) - see this guide:

I istallest the last version of PostgreSQL and I arrived to restore my database. unfortunately when I create a new database arrives a new error message. I post the screenshot

I istalled a too much advanced version of postgreSQL. I istalled the correct one and I solved. tyty

I still have 2 problems:

1- the hud not start at poker tables. Specifically on pokerstars
2- when i press "stop getting hands" button pt4 crush and i have to sitch-off it and restart to work with it

Is this with a new database and/or a restored database? If that's on a restored database go to 'Database -> Database Management', select your database then 'Rebuild Cache -> Full Cache Rebuild'. If that finishes without any errors or warnings then restart your computer and try things out again.

I istalled again postgreSQL. The version istalled was wrong. Now I have v12.20 and all is working properly. thankyou very much
