I think you screw up the session grouping

Postby Furo » Wed Dec 28, 2011 1:20 pm

Hi

I just finished a session with PT4 and it come to my attention that the results of my session vary for each different report at PT4 which cannot be true.
To show you what I am talking about I made some pictures and attached them to my post below.

Allow me to give you some further information:

pt4sessions.jpg:
Statistic Tab / By Session / winnings 54.27€

pt4sessions2.jpg:
Statisitc-Tab / By Session - clicking on the 5:10pm session to get more info/ winnings: 54.27€

pt4sessions3.jpg:
Result-tab / By Session / Winnings: 54.27€

pt4sessions4.jpg
result-tab / by session / clicking on the 5:10pm session / winnings: 115.80€ !!!

pt4sessions5.jpg
statistic-tab / summary report / winnings: 36.71€ !!!

So which one is right?
Imo the 115€ should be the right one as I one at least one stack in this session but how can I be sure whats the right report is?
;)

I suspect the 54.27 is correct - the second screenshot you attached shows a much longer list of table sessions. All of the table sessions screenshots show fewer tables otherwise. Is it possible you need to refresh those reports? Give that a try and see if they show up with +54.27 afterwards.

No, I refreshed every report. It looks like (imo) that your session grouping isnt working properly (otherwise there is no way that I get other amounts when I double click onto the session to get the table list) can you test it at your PC with other HHs?

I have noticed this too, reports that are made of 2 parts get "out of sync" with each other. Looks like theres some problems with retrieving data from database in PT4. I already reported this a while ago, hopefully they get it fixed after holidays.

Here is my current db, again 400 hands out of sync. There are no filters running, and I tried refreshing reports & restarting PT4 multiple times.

Furo, could you please send us your log file that shows the queries for the reports with the screenshots? That will help us determine what is going wrong here.

Random, do you have a ticket for that issue? I'm not certain these are the same problem.

Random - Yep we're on it. I still don't think these are the same issues, I just wanted to double check that we were on it. We've had quite a few issues come in recently and, being shorter staffed than normal due to the holidays, I'd rather double check!

Furo - If you load those reports and see the same incorrect information then all that I'll need will be in the log file.
