version 18 so fast??!!

I have just installed the new version 4.01.18 and it seems to be incredibly faster than the las one!, at lease for me and the first 15 minutes testing.
Is it also happening to anybody else????

We made some big changes to the database and queries to improve performance. Glad to hear they worked.

for the moment it is incredibly much faster than previous one...
Due to the slow performance I sent a ticket an my data, and I was told that the queries were not efficient and this version will improve it.
It seems to be really working!

It's hard to quantify a speed increase, but there is definitely an improvement. My 'normal' regime is nothing running in the VM except PT4, a poker client and two cash tables with HUDs. I do this so often I can even feel a disturbance in the force when a PT4 developer sneezes. When doing this, Mem usage is typically 130-150Mb for PokerTracker4.exe and (IIRC) about 50-75Mb for PokerTrackerHUD4.exe. Average CPU usage across 2 cores is about 20%

Now, under the exact same scenario, PokerTracker4.exe is running 50Mb, PokerTrackerHUD4.exe is 23Mb and average CPU usage is 8-12%. Someone has done some serious rationalization.
