How to register from Beta to the normal version

Postby Incibus » Wed Jul 25, 2012 10:58 am

Hello,

if i start PT4 i get the message that my trial ends in xx days.
I bought the PT4 registration code a few days ago and it is in My Account.
How can i activate this code now?
If i push the Help button in PT4 there is only the message Thank you for registering Texas Holdem and Omaha and i can´t verificate my registration code.

Since you purchased a restricted version of PT4 we had to issue you a different code. In PT4 click File -> Open User Data Folder. Go into the Config folder that appears there and delete the line beginning with "RegistrationCode" (it should be the 4th line or thereabouts). Save the file, restart PT4 and put in your new code and you'll be all set.

I also have this same problem but as far as I know I have purchased the full version and there are no restrictions?

Apparently this can also happen depending on what browser was being used - regardless, follow the same instructions and all will be well. We will be putting up a FAQ to help with this issue soon.

I have no registration code file either. Even made sure hidden files was on in case it was hidden. Still nothing

The file is PokerTracker.cfg - it's a text file and you can open it in notepad (or something similar) - there's a RegistrationCode line in that file which is what you want to remove.

Did you remember to save the file after making that change?
