I have read through this guide and compared it to what I see in the same setting area for 888Poker NJ. There is no option to save hand histories in this area, so I believe it is not an option. As mentioned by someone else, PokerTracker works just fine on NJ PartyPoker.

888 in NJ is now saving the hand histories. (The option is settable under Game Settings). But when trying to set it up, under Directories Configuration, I see the message "888 Poker does not appear to be installed". Any suggestions?

As long as you've configured the correct folder you can ignore that message - it just means that the folder wasn't detected automatically. I understand that the development team are looking into adding automatic detection now that they've started writing hands.

Still not working. I've configured the hand history folder, but I'm getting the following errors in the Import Status box:

07:22:04 pm: 888 Poker: Loading hand history file: C:\Users\mypcname\AppData\Roaming\888pokerNJ\HandHistory\myusername\888poker NJ20131223 Chesterfield Township $0.01-$0.02 No Limit Holdem.txt
07:22:04 pm: Error: 888 Poker: Unexpected beginning of hand history.
07:22:22 pm: Error: 888 Poker: Unexpected beginning of hand history.
07:23:14 pm: Error: 888 Poker: Unexpected beginning of hand history.

No HUD, and no listings under View Today's Hands or View Active Tables.

The hand histories may be in a slightly different format. Please attach one of the hand history files which gives errors to a Support Ticket with a link to this thread so that we can investigate. If you post your ticket number here we'll get it to the development team as quickly as possible.

I've pinpointed the exact difference in the hand history format, and explained and sent sample hand histories to support. For anybody who is interested 'I was able to import hands from both wsop and 888 nj sites, I am writing to hopefully help the development team get pt4 working with these sites. I simply opened a hand history in wordpad and hit 'replace' and typed 'WSOP.com' ('888Poker NJ' for 888) in the first box, and 'Pacific' in the second box. Then clicked replace all. I then saved the hands back into a .txt file, and imported the file and it works!' I sent the info to hm2 support as well, but I have faith that the pt4 team will have huds working first, as they historically seem to always beat holdemmanager to the punch...lets go!

I tried replacing "888Poker NJ' with "888" but I still get the following error:

WARNING: Unrecognized file format: 888poker NJ20140109 Pennsville Township $0.25-$0.50 No Limit Holdem.txt

Any clue what's wrong? I am running a registered version of PT4.

We don't support hacking hand histories directly. Hopefully soon there will be a positive resolution on this for everybody.
