First hand of session missing - Party Poker file

Postby Muhatma » Tue Jul 26, 2016 7:55 am

Hello everyone,

my very fist hand does not import. Neither manually nor automatically. I do see it in the HH file of the session however.

Any ideas on how to get it into my database?

Thanks

Party changed their software to write the first hand with anonymous names. Short of manually editing the file and reimporting that hand there is no current workaround to get that data into the database.

The hand history file is moved after import to the folder listed in Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Preferences. Open that folder and find the table in question (by default it's broken down into site and date to make it easier to find), change the names as needed, save it and reimport that file.

That's no true. Only the player's stacks appear with 'player#' but actions wrote after '** Dealing down cards **' line contain accurate pseudonyms.

It must be quite easy to handle it in PT....

It's a lot of work to rewrite any first hand.
So we can just spend our time rewriting those files or have an incomplete database ?!
That's a big deal.

Any chance we have a fix soon ?

Thanks.

These hands will not import with the mismatches on the player names in the hand history and this is a more complex issue than it looks so if you want these hands in your database they will need to be manually edited.

If someone can edit the file and then import it in PT, that's an easy thing to do programmatically ^^

I def don't understand why that's not a top priority fix.
If it don't come, I'll do a batch on my side, but that's ridiculous.
