I got myself a dedicated SSD drive for PT stuff. When following the guide for uninstall, the detele service part returned "User not found". I still went ahead and installed PT4 , hoping it would install new Postgres. It didnt.

What to do now?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I tried manually installig postgres 9.3. That went ok, but my old databases are lingering in Database management, and they annoy me. Can i remove them? It says their invalid and size says N/A.

Skip down to the reinstall part and run that. If it fails give me the exact failure message you are getting.

Reinstall worked, but i obviously have some trace of the old database on my computer, cause my old database shows up when i run PT4. My old database show up in Database management, but cant be used. It says their invalid and size says N/A.

Can i remove my old database?

That just means that PT4 remembers that you had a database with that name - if it shows as N/A then it doesn't exist in your current PostgreSQL. You can remove the reference to it from PT4 by selecting it and clicking Remove.
