unable to login pokertracker.

Hi all,

I have used the pokertracker 3+ years on my desktop, and suddenly I cannot open the pokertracker, but instead i got the following message.


Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "???" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?


I have checked that some people posted similar answers and followed one of the replies in there.

At the Start, I run services.msc and realize that there is no postgres. How can I fix this? I really don't want to lose my database so that I really need a help making this fixed!!

I have deleted all of my anti-virus product (but possible that it already affects the pokertracker).
My version is 9.0. please help

I went thorugh a lot of posts here and found the solution (by reinstalling the same version postgresql 9.0)

The 9.0 version is old enough that made me hard to find the way to download, but this one helped

Thanks for the update. If you have not already done so I would make sure to follow the instructions given in the Security Software Configuration Guide to set PokerTracker 4/PostgreSQL exceptions in your security software.
