PT4 issues, help :(

Postby dvfz893 » Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:38 am

Hi, I have using PT4 for 3 years or so and I never had any issues, however I got one now, I dont know whats all about but it makes my stats totally screwd

It shows this in Error: Error:
888 Poker: Unable to import hand (#461802479). Reason: Error: Unable to execute query: COPY cash_hand_histories FROM STDIN;; Reason: Error: (ERROR: could not read block 134276 in file "base/16392/16698.1": read only 0 of 8192 bytes CONTEXT: COPY cash_hand_histories, line 1: "2656240

Error: PokerStars: Unable to import hand (#161326870687). Reason: Error: Unable to execute query: COPY cash_hand_histories FROM STDIN;; Reason: Error: (ERROR: could not read block 134276 in file "base/16392/16698.1": read only 0 of 8192 bytes CONTEXT: COPY cash_hand_histories, line 1: "2656255
.
And then when I open poker tables it shows tracker and lines where stats should BE, but it doesnt show any stats on players...
Anybody can help me, knows whats problem and how to fix it? :(
Thanks !

Update I did the second option, I opened postgress via notepad, i added the line on the bottom that you wrote and its still the same... Sending me this errors and not updating hands as it should. 888 Poker: Unable to import hand (#461802479). Reason: Error: Unable to execute query: COPY cash_hand_histories FROM STDIN;; Reason: Error: (ERROR: could not read block 134276 in file "base/16392/16698.1": read only 0 of 8192 bytes CONTEXT: COPY cash_hand_histories, line 1: "2656240

I reinstalled my postgres but you are not supporting versions above 9.4, gonna reinstal again and instal 9.2 version..

Did you restart your computer after editing the postgresql.conf file? It is also possible that you have a bad sector on your disk so if the file is missing or too badly corrupted it may be necessary to restore your database from a Backup if you have one, or to create a new one and re-import your hands. Should the error return and you have an old disk drive you may want to consider replacing it or moving your PostgreSQL install to another disk if you have one available.

I did, I read you eeither go to programs and to some reload on postgres or REstart comp, I restarted. :(

Would reinstaling windows solve this problem? I did not reinstal my windows for a long time and I feel the comp is messed up.

FYI PostgreSQL v9.3 is our recommend version:

Possibly not as the error is indicative of a hardware rather than a software issue.
