PT4 v4.14.22 with PosgreSQL v8.4

How big of a performance issue can be if im running the latests PT4 version with the 8.4 version of PostgreSQL?

That's not something I can quantify however PostgreSQL v8.4 is very old and no longer supported by PostgreSQL. That version is also only available in 32bit so if you have a 64bit operating system and more than 4GB RAM then it cannot use that extra horsepower and that is a very important factor with regards to potential performance.
