reviving an old database

Postby seadog » Thu Aug 31, 2017 12:43 pm

I may have asked this before.......I appologize

Years back I had a system crash, I removed my old hard drive for a new one and is using my old one as a 2nd drive. I had over a million hands in that database.
Is there a way to revive this database?

To try and reuse a PostgreSQL requires the "data" folder and you would have to reinstall the same version of PostgreSQL that was used before. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that would work so another alternative is to manually reimport your original hand histories into a new database. By default PokerTracker 4 would have moved your hand histories imported while playing to your Processed folder which is located here by default:

C:\Users\SOME_NAME\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Processed
